Meg`s technique is self-taught, however best resembles to action painting. She begins a piece very spontaneously, her vivid thoughts are often expressed in bold explosive colours and texture, with canvas spread across the floor, dripping and splashing with total control being more concerned with exploring the effects of pure colours on a canvas. She uses everything at her disposal, combining paint with other liquids and palette knife on canvas rather than traditional brush. The colours and brushstrokes are usually chosen intuitively without any preconception of how the work might turn out. Each painting is continually worked until it feels completed, resulting in good composition. The titles are derived in the same spontaneous fashion as the paintings.
